A warm breezy wind of June strolled around this evening when I went to the terrace after a long day at college. The weather was just perfect for my mood while I was listening to Silbermond with icy detox water, already mesmerizing the majestic sun in front of me. It was the heavy clouds, warm summer breeze, the angry hills, my thoughts and me. As I sip the refresher, the valley’s air moves swiftly and the clouds get angrier until I get goosebumps, a sudden feeling for excitement with the beat of the next song in my playlist.
I then took a deep breath and puffed my lungs until I felt like the entire toxicity went through the comfy air.
I took a look around me, I could see the entire valley surrounded by hills and a flock of pigeon swarms across the grey sky, yes, it was about to rain. Another gentle breeze flipped my hair, my short hair, playing through my hair entangling them in between. I finished the cucumber slices sprinkled with peppermint and lemon at a bite being it the best part of detox water.
Then, I pause the song and look downstairs at my maa and bhai who were enjoying playing badminton. I see how my sweet little bhai cunningly wants to win every match they have and later ends up loosing while he also gets funny scolding’s for playing lame. I play back the song and write down my thoughts and get completely sad again. It was a usual course for me to get serious while writing either happy for sad thoughts. Oh no, it started raining but I continue to write until my glasses have tiny rain drops on it making it harder for me to see around. I was confused, yes, whether to keep the writing or make it all wet until the letters vanish by the rain so that my thoughts won’t be heard by anyone.
Well, I choose to let it be, I choose to let my thoughts go along with the rain, yes it was something that was better to keep off from people who are dear and close to me. “Nani, Nani…. Come for dinner.” bhai shouted on top of his voice. It was getting gloomy and darker. I crumpled the page and threw it in my neighbors garden pit. I hurriedly rushed downstairs but, on my way, yes, I got carried out by the greasy, creamy and spicy aroma of tonight’s dish. It indeed changed my mood completely as I snarf down the butter chicken masala, with the perfect spicing.
